For the most modern partygoer couples, Detroit Wedding Photo would strongly recommend Envy as a reception location. It's the ultimate party spot with multiple levels, a booming sound system, light shows, live DJs, dance floors, and of course a full bar. There are lots of TVs scattered around and a beautiful waterfall backdrop behind the bar, which will really look very nice in your Detroit wedding photos! Another sensational wedding reception location is MGM Grand Detroit. If you've been there to play the slots and gamble a bit, you may not have even noticed that they've got 30,000 sq ft of event space which includes a ball room that seats as many as 800 guests. It's not out of reach for smaller weddings either though, because you can take advantage of their lounges and restaurants too. The Dearborn Inn, now a part of Mariott, is probably our top choice for a combined wedding space and reception space. This historic location has been here since 1931 and they've got a total of 23 acres that you can takes best advantage of with an elegant outdoor ceremony! There are more than 200 guest rooms for you to use as well, including a hospitality suite for the bridal party. They give the bride and groom their room at no charge, and they have various wedding packages that include a bottle of bubbly, centerpieces for the tables, linens and decor, decorated tables, cake cutting service, ice sculptures, wedding cakes, and so much more. Our top choice for a downtown Detroit wedding is The Masonic. To call this Detroit wedding venue "historic" would be a supreme understatement. Their chapel seats more than 400 guests, and their crystal ball room is just too beautiful to describe in words. You really should take a tour and feast your eyes on all the delicate beauty of this establishment. So many of our friends and family have tied the knot and said their vows here, and it's always been a pleasure for both the couple and all their guests to spend time within those hallowed walls.
